Margaret & Alan moved into the Nambucca Valley over 21 years ago to enjoy the lifestyle and raise their son. Margaret’s background in sales & marketing came from employment with a range of demanding, market leading companies including Telstra, Dun & Bradstreet and Blackmore Laboratories. With a passion for property, Margaret found her niche in real estate over 10 years ago, choosing Bradleys’ Real Estate as the local leader with the right reputation and the only Agency she wanted to join. Together with partner, Alan they purchased BRE just a year later.

Alan Chaffey

With an engineering background in the printing industry Alan's sales career began with Edwards Dunlop in Sydney and Melbourne, offering a variety of machines to the market, from small offset office machines to giant telephone book web presses. For a few years other interests saw him utilise his talents in the sales and manufacture of marine equipment and gain qualifications in horticulture. Alan established a retail nursery in the burgeoning Hills district in Sydney until an offer to return to the printing industry saw him involved with the Australian agents of Koenig and Bauer AG, Integrated Printing Machine sales, the company that oversaw the modifications required to K & B machines enabling the manufacture of the world's first plastic banknotes here in Australia.

"Basically the process is the same whether you are selling a $20 plant, a $5 million machine or a clients home, the difference with Real Estate is that you are often dealing with peoples largest personal asset and the financial outcome has a big bearing on their lives and future.
